Sleazy Rider: Naked Motorcyclist Charged with Drunk Driving
OCALA, Fla. (CBS/AP) He felt the need. The need for speed.
Problem was, J. Dante Krauss didn't feel the need for pants.
Now, a Florida police deputy reports pulling over the biker-in-the-buff and charging the man with driving under the influence.
The nude easy-rider was streaking along on Interstate 75 early Tuesday morning when he was spotted by a Marion County deputy.
The officer then caught up with 45-year-old Krauss at a red light and stopped him.
Krauss reportedly could not explain where he was coming from or why he was naked. The deputy asked him if he had been drinking, and he reportedly answered that he had.
Breathalyzer tests revealed blood alcohol levels more than twice the legal limit for driving.
The man was charged with what turned out to be his fifth DUI. Jail records showed he was later released on $20,000 bail.
