O'Neal Family Troubles Continue

It's a family -- Ryan O'Neal and his children -- that can't seem to stay out of trouble lately.

And it's another mug shot for Ryan O'Neal, reports CBS News national correspondent Hattie Kauffman. This time with his 23-year-old son, Redmond.

The two were arrested Wednesday when a probation officer found methamphetamine in their Malibu home. Redmond, the son of O'Neal and Actress Farrah Fawcett, was on probation for an earlier heroin arrest. The family's troubles go deep.

Last year, the actor was arrested for firing a gun during a domestic dispute involving another son, Griffin.

"He had a little gun, he shot a little shot but he didn't point it in any ones direction," said neighbor Charlie Mattera.

Ryan's daughter, Tatum O'Neal, has also struggled with drugs. This summer she was arrested on suspicion of cocaine possession.

When she starred with her dad in the film "Paper Moon" Tatum won an Oscar, the youngest actress ever to do so.

Its been nearly four decades since Ryan O'Neal's Oscar nomination for "Love Story". Now, the family is better known for making headlines, than reviews.

Both Ryan and Redmond were released from jail after posting $10,000 bail. They could be charged with felony drug possession.
