New Algerian Jihadi Group Issues Communiqué No. 1

Several disgruntled militants have announced the rise of a new militant Islamist group in Algeria called "The Movement of the Faithful to the Oath." The statement included a scathing attack on other militant Islamist groups operating in Algeria, accusing them of straying from the righteous path. It said the leader of the group was Abdul Rahman Abu Jamil.
