(CBS) Did you know it's National Cheesecake Day? And it's Friday. Two perfect excuses for a treat.
If you want to indulge, here are some suggestions about how to work off those, oh, 500 CALORIES!
That's right, a single slice of plain - no cherries or chocolate - cheesecake will set you back at least 411 calories.
And if you go to the Cheesecake Factory, adjust that number to 500 calories.
You'll also get a healthy dose of fat - 36 grams (16 of which are saturated), 185.0 mg of cholesterol, 310 mg of sodium, and 42 grams of carbs!
So, after your treat, it seems that we have a little work to do.
Let's say you eat a smaller piece of cake - the 411 calorie slice. And let's say you weigh 150 lbs.
You'll have to do about 61 minutes of vigorous strength training to work off.
