Nancy O'Dell talks Obama PDA and her scrapbooking obsession

(CBS News) "Entertainment Tonight" host Nancy O'Dell is known for A-list celebrity interviews and more recently, for her conversations with both Ann Romney and the Obamas, but Wednesday on "CBS This Morning," the longtime entertainment journalist shared a lesser known and much craftier side.

Wednesday on "CBS This Morning," O'Dell said she enjoys interviewing politicos as part of an entertainment-centric show because "you can see that personal side of them."

Touching on her interview with the president and Michelle Obama, she said, "One thing that I noticed, they were holding hands, and it started before the cameras were rolling...there was PDA, yes there was! It was nice to see," she added.

O'Dell also promised to help "CTM" co-host Gayle King get her photos in order and revealed that she has been scrapbooking since she was "a little kid. She talked about her new book, "Here's to Fabulous You," a scrapbook-inspired guide to help women stay focused on their passions and and document the important moments in life.

For more on her new book and crafty pastime, watch the video above.
