Lisa Harroff, Texas high school teacher, accused of having sexual relationship with 17-yr.-old student

(CBS) ANDERSON COUNTY, Texas - Lisa Harroff, a 49-year-old high school teacher in Texas, is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student, according to CBS affiliate KYTX.

Harroff, a math teacher and cross-country track coach, is on paid administrative leave while authorities investigate the allegations against her, the station reports.

Officials say they searched Harroff's home and found evidence that a relationship may have been going on for some time between her and the teenage boy, who is a track runner, according to the station.

Authorities were allegedly tipped off after the parents of the teenage boy went to the County Sheriff's office with information about the relationship.

KYTX reports Harroff has denied the allegations and was released from jail on a $25,000 bond.
