Khloe Kardashian out on "The X Factor"?

"The X Factor" won't be keeping up with Khloe Kardashian next season, according to a report in the New York Post.

The Post reports that Kardashian has not been asked to return as co-host of the Fox singing competition.

"They are asking Mario [Lopez] to come back, but not Khloe," an insider told the paper.

Kardashian and Lopezjoined "The X Factor" as hosts for the show's second season. They replaced previously-axed host Steve Jones.

A rep for "The X Factor" called the report of Kardashian's exit is premature, telling Entertainment Weekly: "The producers have not yet made the talent decisions for this year."

But if it turns out to be true, her departure would be the latest shake-up for the Simon Cowell show. Judges Britney Spears and L.A. Reid have already confirmed they won't return for another season.
