Khloe Kardashian opens up about her mom calling her "a little too fat"

(CBS News) Khloe Kardashian opens up about body image and outside pressures to stay healthy in the May issue of Cosmopolitan.

The 27-year-old reality star also chimes in on how her manager mother, Kris Jenner, called her out for gaining a few pounds on national TV.

"Listen, my mom believes in us more than we believe in ourselves," she tells the magazine. "But she is also our manager and trying to protect our brand. She'll say, 'Oh, you're a little too fat right now.' If she were just my manager, I'd have fired her right then. You can't talk to me like that."'

The May issue of Cosmopolitan hits newsstands April 10.
