Inside The "Evening News" Control Room
First, Public Eye took you inside the CBS News editorial meeting. Then, we took a camera into the "Early Show" control room. And now, we take you inside the control room of the "Evening News," to give you a glimpse of that show's nerve center. You might recognize the director, Eric Shapiro, a CBS veteran and the subject of yesterday's "10 plus 1." As always, we present the video virtually un-edited, though you'll notice times when it jumps from one point to another. That's because our cameraman wanted to get a different shot – not because we edited for content or any other reason.
