First "Believe" Day Declared
Macy's has declared December 11 the very first National "Believe" Day. The day, according to Martine Reardon, executive vice president of Macy's, is to celebrate everyone who wants to believe in something.
The Macy's "Believe" Campaign continues Friday with a day to honor people named Virginia. If your name is Virginia, Reardon said, you can go into any Macy's and receive a $10 gift card. Also, the holiday animated feature "Yes, Virginia," made in partnership with Macy's will air Friday night at 8 p.m. on CBS.

Make-a-Wish Foundation
The Macy's "Believe" letters to Santa program continues, as well. For every letter Macy's receives in their special red "Believe" mailboxes at their locations around the country Macy's will donate $1 to the Make-a-Wish Foundation -- up to $1 million -- to help dreams come true for children. The current letter count stands at 575,000 letters.
