Fin whale rolls over like a puppy by boat

(CBS)- Everything about whales seems chill; they are big, slow moving, majestic creatures. So you have to imagine that this whale thought it would be cool to put on a little show for some people whale watching off of California. Whale thought: "Let me see how excited they get when I do a barrel roll next to them!"

The whale in this video is a fin whale, the world's second largest whale species. Typically, fin whales take a few breaths at the surface and dive back down to the depths, so this sort of exhibition right by a boat is extremely rare and surreal.
