Early Show Fans Pitch In

Viewers of The Early Show have taken action to help victims of Hurricane Katrina.

They particpated in the weeklong exclusive online auction of a Gibson guitar that was signed by many of the stars who appeared at the "Fashion Rocks" special that aired Sept. 9 on CBS. Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani and Billy Idol are among the stars who signed. The auction ended Friday, Sept. 16, at 11:59 p.m. ET. The winner, with a bid of $5,900, was Rob Zolezzi, of San Jose, Calif.
