Drunk Uncle Gives 11-Year-Old the Wheel, What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (CBS/AP) In Ivan Tena-Munoz's defense... he was drunk when he allegedly let his 11-year-old nephew drive his pickup truck, according to Albuquerque police.

They didn't think it was funny.

They arrested Tena-Munoz on child abuse charges after they say the boy lost control of the truck and slammed it into a car in a driveway, pushing it into a tree.

Police say he put the child and the child's 14-year-old brother in danger in Friday's incident.

According to a criminal complaint, the 11-year-old tried to drive away from the scene but neighbors stopped the truck.

Police say the two boys fled, leaving Tena-Munoz to sober up with his new friends - Albuquerque police.
