Charlie Sheen, Snoop Dogg record a song together

(CBS) You'd think Charlie Sheen has done it all? Guess again.

The former "Two and a Half Men" star has embarked on a new venture into the music scene, but he isn't going at it alone. Snoop Dogg is joining in on the fun, collaborating with Sheen on a new single, sources told Billboard.com on Wednesday.

The news comes after Sheen posted a picture on Twitter of himself, Snoop Dogg and Filter producer Rob Patterson in a recording studio.

"Warlock meets his makers-music makers that is @SnoopDogg @robpatterson666 get ready to rock the Sheenius within!" wrote Sheen.

No details have been released on the title, lyrics, or a release date for the song.

Snoop Dogg, 39, just released his 11th album, "The Doggumentary," while Sheen, 45, is preparing for his "My Violent Torpedo of Truth" tour, which begins on Saturday in Detroit. It has been reported that the star is earning $300,000 for his first two shows.
