Big Brother: All-Stars

Let me preface by saying I LOVE BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS.

In my opinion, it's the first "All-Stars" show that actually works and all the strong players weren't targeted first.

Plus the cast is really strong, everyone knows how to play the game, everyone is smart and ruthless, and it all makes for a killer season. Plus it's the only show I can get a fix of three times a week. Can't beat that.

We left Sunday's episode with Danielle as HOH and she put Janelle up on the block because everyone is mad at her after putting up two floaters last week, and she put up her buddy James so he could win VETO so Janelle doesn't. That's a pretty risky move in my opinion and I can't believe James went for it. Don't expect Janelle to go down without a fight, though.

OK, here we go. The "Legion of Doom" alliance consists of Boogie, Will, James and Danielle. They are all gung-ho on getting out Janelle. James is trying to fool his season six alliance (Kaysar, Howie and Janelle) because he is shocked he went up for eviction and he's trying to play both sides. He is bound to get caught at some point and it's going to bite him in the butt. Everyone seems believe that Danielle and James aren't in an alliance, so they are doing a pretty good job of fooling the entire house.

It must have been a boring couple of days because we get a nice clip of Howie and Will shaving their whole bodies, I am not sure if I have it in me to say any more, especially when they shaved Chicken George — no more please.

Just when we think there is a lull in the craziness, Chicken George decided to tell Danielle that he doesn't think he can make it to the end — WHAT? Who says that? Of course you can make it to the end. The poor guy has to eat slop the entire time but it's worth it for the payoff at the end. It was a little upsetting to see him sort of give up like that after coming so far. Don't do it Chicken George! Take it back! There is still time!

VETO competition time. For those who aren't familiar with this, whoever wins the VETO competition has the power to take a nominee off the block or take themselves off. Danielle, Janelle, Marcelles, Boogie and Will are playing tonight.

There are five people playing who want Janelle out, so this really isn't good for her. VETO tonight looks like a huge graveyard (good one art department, kudos to you). Everyone hops into a grave and lays there without talking or moving. Each player starts with 40 VETO points and Erika, who is emceeing the competition, will offer VETO points in exchange for prizes, etc.

The houseguest with the most points wins at the end. So no one knows who takes what deal because they are all playing lying down — love it! Plasma TVs and phone calls are offered to lose VETO points, and things like eating slop and using a camping toilet can gain VETO points.

Time to reveal the punishments and prizes now that the competition is over — hot water is shut off for a week and they will be sleeping on army cots while the house gets a margarita party, along with a slew of other gifts housemates got for giving up points. Seems like the houseguest's are a little greedy.

The "Legion of Doom" is sounding more like the "Legion of Greed." And the winner is JANELLE! HA! HA! HA! I love it! This is really going to shake up the house, it doesn't get any better than this. So Danielle has to pick someone else to put up in her place. Let the games begin.

So while Danielle spends 24 hours in solitary pacing over her decisions, the rest of the group — minus the four who didn't play — have a margarita party. Will hopes that Janelle will get drunk and hit on him.

And I know Will may be a villain with Boogie as his sidekick but I think not only are Will and Boogie still in the game after being huge targets, they have both managed to divert attention from themselves, and are having the most fun.

So, at this point, the real All-Stars are starting to look like Will and Boogie, like it or not. Will and Boogie even blame Marcelles for taking all the prizes even though it was them — genius, even though I LOVE Marcelles.

The next day Danielle has been asked by Will, Boogie and James to put Marcelles up but she goes against the grain and puts up Kaysar and a member of the Big Brother 6 alliance. Now it's James vs. Kaysar. Kaysar is well-liked so Danielle and James' plan may backfire and James will go home. Either way, it's going to be good!
