(CBS) - Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has to suffer not only his team's beat down at the hands of the New Orleans Saints, but also upset fantasy leaguers who aren't happy with his performance. The Pro Bowl running back let his fans know on Twitter that he was just as upset as they were that he only had ten carries in the Vikings' 42-20 loss to the Saints. He also let them know that anyone upset about Peterson ruining their fantasy team can "Go kick rocks."

"Some of these FF owners! Don't have no sense at all!" Peterson wrote on his Twitter account a few hours after the loss. "To all my true fans out there, appreciate the support, and everybody else go kick rocks!"

Peterson rushed for 60 yards in his first game back after a three-game absence, but a weakened ankle kept his production down. He also pointed out online that his team found themselves in a hole early on and had to take to the air to try to get back in the game.

"I was upset [with 10 carries] a little bit, fight to get back, but we got down so we had to start passing the ball a little more. So it was more understandable then. I don't know what goes through the coaches' mind," Peterson said after the game.

AP isn't the only running back to have scuffles with fantasy league owners. Back in August, Houston Texans' Arian Foster let fans know over Twitter that his hamstring injury was healing.

"For those sincerely concerned, I'm doing ok & plan to be back by opening day," Foster wrote. "For those worried about your fantasy team, you people are sick."
