One of Tampa's trendy restaurants located by International Mall (sorry, "Plaza"), this steak and seafood dining experience is equipped with an elegant piano lounge. Named the Blu Lounge, music fills the room every night of the week via a rotating list of seasoned performers. Stop in around 8 p.m. on Monday to Saturday and 6 p.m. on Sundays when the musical tunes start emanating from the Blu Lounge. The sounds are mainly there to enhance the ambiance of the room, as most patrons are just nose-diving in their specialty drinks as the keyboard artist sets the tone. Ocean Prime is a decent spot for those that like to casually converse in an up-scale setting with nice background music.

Seems like an unusual and far-out spot for a piano maestro to drop in at, right? But that's exactly the reason Billy's Stonecrab, Steak & Seafood lands here on this list. Carl Fuerstman helms the keys every Wednesday night in this joint's main lounge starting at 6 p.m. Carl is essentially a keyboard jukebox, as he can play just about anything from the 50s all the way to the tunes of today. The fun-loving veteran musician has a personable show that has strolled into a plethora of clubs all throughout the bay area. And the best part? The guy will hit the keys for hours.
Semeraro's Italian Café' and Piano Bar

To be considered a piano bar, an establishment pretty much just has to have a piano on site. This quaint spot takes it a step further and embraces the historic instrument. With a bar that has appointments resembling a giant keyboard, Semeraro's Italian Café and Piano Bar reminds one of the classic chill scenes from the early 20th century. Artistic renders of the Rat Pack and great actors such as Al Pacino and Marlon Brando line the walls. The nightly piano playing has been attracting many of the area's notable performers, and with the combo of classic Italian plates and drinks, this place is one of St. Pete's best kept secrets.
