Children are full of curiosity, and the Glazer Children's Museum, near downtown Tampa, caters to that curiosity in a kid-friendly way. Filled with bright, colorful and interactive exhibits, this hands-on museum captivates children and adults alike. Allow toddlers and children to safely explore the world around them through exhibits like Tug Boat Tots, designed specifically for the three and under set, and Publix Super Market, where children can shop with tiny shopping carts in pint-sized aisles. Nearly 20 regular exhibits are available to educate, stimulate and encourage learning through tactile and kinetic experiences. In addition, facilities are available for birthday parties and other special events. Hours: Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
