Felicitous Coffee House
11706 N. 51st St.
Tampa, FL 33617
Felicitous is not your average coffee shop. Board games are stacked along the back wall, plush sofas and desks invite guests to pop open their laptops while they sip a coconut frappé and art created by local artists adorn the walls and ceiling. The most striking art in the shop are the large, colorful paintings spread across the ceiling like a smaller, more modern Sistine Chapel. While the ceiling paintings are permanent, the walls host a rotating selection of paintings that can be purchased and enjoyed at home as well. In addition to paintings, local artists also contribute hand-made jewelry, purses and other accessories, all of which can be bought just as easily as your jasmine green tea.
