Best Places For Fine Irish Whiskey In Tampa

St. Patrick's Day have you in the mood for some genuine Irish whiskey? Whether you are in the mood for Bushmills or Jameson, a real St. Patrick's Day party or an authentic pub experience, you are bound to find something in Tampa to satisfy your craving.

Four Green Fields is one of the most authentic Irish bars in the Bay Area. The food selection is average, but there is a solid selection of Irish beers and whiskey, including older Jameson and Redbreast. This is a smaller bar that is mostly populated by regulars, but the Irish always have room for one more. Drop in for great service, live Irish music and some of the finest Irish whiskey available in the Tampa area.

The Pub, located in the Westshore Plaza behind The Cheesecake Factory, was designed to give guests an authentic British pub experience. Serving food and drinks from England, Scotland, and Ireland, the menu includes traditional favorites such as Belhaven beer cheese, fish and chips, shepherd's pie, English pot roast and whiskey bread pudding. The drink selection is very extensive and includes dozens of beers, wines, mixed drinks, and, of course, whiskey, among others. Not sure what to try? O'Toole's is all about having a great night out. Created with the goal of being the ideal social gathering destination, the bar offers daily drink specials, live entertainment, and even a dart arena. St. Patrick's Day falls on "Sammy Saturday," which means Happy Hour is all day until 7 p.m., and Samuel Adams drinks are offered at a discounted price. The pub offers all of the usuals, including Paddy, Power's, Michael Collins, Jameson, Bushmills and Redbreast, in addition to a few others, like some 15- and 18-year varieties.

What better place to search for whiskey than a club that has it right in the name? This is not a pub or a bar -- this is the only night club of its kind in the Carrollwood area. This two-level building sports real Adirondak decor, sophisticated lighting, and the hottest music. Additionally, Whiskey North's commitment to service has been making patrons feel like VIP's for the last ten years. If this is how you plan to spend your St. Patrick's Day, you're in luck: Between the hours of 7:00 and 10:00pm, "Super Happy Hour" specials include a $12 cover for an open bar, a $5 menu, and other specials, such as a $5 sampler and $3 shrimp. Know before you go: no guests under the age of 21 will be admitted (bring your I.D.), and although there is no specific dress code, Whiskey North reserves the right to deny entry to anyone whose attire does not match the atmosphere of the venue.
