(AUDIO) Kordell "Slash" Stewart Says the Bucs Coaching Staff Isn't Using Revis the Correct Way
Kordell Stewart 10-18
Former NFL QB and current co-host of Game Time on 92.9 The Game in Atlanta joined Booger and Rich to help preview the Bucs Falcons game on Sunday.
Stewart said it's the coaching staff's fault because they haven't put Revis in the right situation to succeed. He also noted that Revis may not have the talent around him to be able to play man-to-man all of the time.
Stewart talked about the release of Josh Freeman and said everything is backwards in Tampa Bay and he's happy Freeman has a chance to succeed with the Vikings.
The Falcons have struggled so far this season and Stewart said that the team is lacking depth. Despite signing guys like Steven Jackson in the offseason, the team hasn't been able to pick up some wins. Matt Ryan's contract is a major reason for that. Stewart said yes he deserved the big contract but it handcuffed the team and didn't allow them to build depth on the team.
