(AUDIO) Bill Polian: Lovie Smith Has 'The Formula for Winning in the NFL'

Former NFL GM and ESPN analyst Bill Polian joined Booger and Rich to discuss Jeff Tedford's offense and the future of the Buccaneers.

Polian said he loved the pick of Mike Evans. He said he's a big receiver with good hands and one of his few faults is run blocking which he can easily improve.

Booger asked Polian about Tony Dungy who Polian worked with in Indianapolis and the former GM told us that having a defensive coach is a huge benefit because they can easily fix the defense if there are any issues during the season. He said Lovie Smith will be valuable to the Bucs because he knows how to correct issues on the defensive side of the ball.

Polian also said that the formula for winning in the NFL is playing great defense and protecting the football, a philosophy Lovie Smith can and will instill in this Bucs team.

Finally Polian said that the success of the 2014 Bucs team relies heavily on the play of the QB. As long as Mike Glennon develops and Josh McCown doesn't turn the ball over, the Bucs will be just fine.
