We often associate the Fourth of July, or Independence Day, with the traditional symbols of summer, such as visits to the beach, fireworks, barbecues and other festivities. This holiday also coincides with one of the hottest moments of the year. How can we cool down on July 4th? There's no better way than with one of these delicious summer cocktails, engineered to help us have a fun holiday without breaking a sweat!

Fire Cracker Candy


  • 1/2 ounce white rum
  • 1 ounce of Malibu rum
  • 1 ounce watermelon puckers
  • 1 ounce blue curaçao
  • 2 ounces orange juice


  1. Add the two rums together in a glass
  2. Layer the watermelon puckers, then the blue curaçao
  3. Add orange juice as the top layer for a beautiful summer drink

July 4th Mimosa


  • 1 12-ounce bottle of Corona or other light beer
  • 1 ounce orange vodka
  • 3 ounces orange juice


  1. Take a Corona and pour into a pint glass
  2. Add 1 ounce of orange Vodka
  3. Fill the rest of the glass with orange juice

The Jumping Jack


  • 1 ounce whiskey
  • 1/2 ounce cherry vodka
  • Dash of Raspberry Puckers
  • 1 8.4-ounce can of Red Bull
  • 12 ounces orange juice


  1. Pour whiskey and cherry vodka into glass
  2. Add Red Bull and OJ
  3. Add a dash of Raspberry Puckers
