The classic breakfast burrito consists of fluffy scrambled eggs, potatoes and salsa all wrapped up nice and comfy in a big, soft, warm flour tortilla. Meat of some sort is usually extra. The Northside Café is a great place to enjoy a calm breakfast before the hurley-burley of the day sets in, and its breakfast wrap is just the thing to start your day off right. For $3.99, you get a more than generous serving of scrambled eggs, excellent cheddar cheese and house potatoes smothered in an artful salsa and all wrapped up in a huge flour tortilla. Spring for an extra buck and you get bacon or ham. For an extra $1.50, you can add Polish sausage or chicken apple sausage.

Berkeley's The Sunny Side Cafe is a charming little eatery that serves a ginormous breakfast burrito. Come in with an appetite because you can get two scrambled eggs with salsa, homefries and vegetarian black beans all wrapped up in a tomato tortilla. At first glance, this cafe looks like a dinky little hole in the wall, but there is upstairs seating that overlooks the street as well outdoor seating, perfect for a warm day. The service is cheerful and the breakfast burrito will leave you pretty happy as well.

If you're looking for a large breakfast on the cheap, Ann's Kitchen is the way to go. It is slightly off campus so there aren't quite as many students crowding into this spot for the breakfast rush. Ann's hearty breakfast burrito is guaranteed to satisfy even the most robust trencherman, particularly if you love your spuds, because there are a ton of spuds to help the eggs, ham, onion, bell peppers, cheese and salsa find their way to your mouth. For only $4.80, this is a steal of a deal.
