Juneteenth Freedom Celebration was held at The Mix, downtown Sacramento on June 19th presented by Sacramento Black and Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, with awards, speakers and Sacramento Mayor, Darrell Steinberg.
On June 15th, the Award dinner was held at the Hyatt Regency, downtown Sacramento. Each year, UCP selects an individual who has generously supported the community as the recipient of the Humanitarian of the Year award Since 2008, the UCP Humanitarian of the Year Award Dinner has raised over $3.7 million dollars to support life without limits for people with disabilities.
