Sharing his picks for the best and worst looks from the SAG Awards, Felix Mercado, stylist and president of Say It With Style, gave best actress nominee Hilary Swank top honors. The "Conviction" star accented her sparkle encrusted nude Versace one-shoulder gown with loose curls.
"Modern Family" actress Sofia Vergara showed off her envied curves in this cobalt blue wrap-waisted Roberto Cavalli gown. "She can do no wrong," said Mercado. "Move over Eva Longoria, there is a new Latina in Tinseltown!"
Although he wished "Glee" star Diana Agron dressed up her look with more accessories, Mercado still praised the young actress for going high-fashion with this lace tea-length Chanel Haute Couture gown.
The night's best actress in a drama series winner, Julianna Margulies looked "absolutely stunning" in this strapless red Yves Saint Laurent column gown. "The Good Wife" actress paired the look with pulled back hair and tear-drop earrings.
"Winter's Bone" actress Jennifer Lawrence made quite the splash in pink with this Oscar de la Renta gown. "I felt the belt competed with the shoulder straps and the black was too hard against the pink. I would have preferred no belt, the slit not so high and different color accessories."
Kim Kardashian's ruby Grecian style Marchesa gown did not fare well with Mercado. "There were so many things wrong with her I don't know where to begin. Poor Kim - looks likes she's so busy with her reality shows, fragrance line and boutiques she didn't have time to find a more flattering gown. Why was she there again?"
