    • Jacob Pauda

      From "sexy" mugshots to a heavily-tattoed criminal, Crimesider presents a collection of the most outrageous mug shots.

      Jacob Pauda, 31, of Lubbock, Texas, was found guilty of domestic violence and sentenced to 15 years in prison for assaulting his pregnant girlfriend back in February 2016.

      He reportedly chased her with a butcher's knife and repeatedly slammed the victim into metal objects.

      The victim quoted Pauda as admitting he did "two bumps" of cocaine before the violent assault.

      In Pauda's mugshot from the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office, he appears to have a full face tattoo.

    • Lawrence Sullivan

      Lawrence Sullivan, 29, is accused of waving a gun at cars in southwest Miami-Dade, Fla. He was charged for possession of a concealed weapon.

      Sullivan, whose distinctive look is reminiscent of Jared Leto's Joker in "Suicide Squad," mixes and matches his representations of various Jokers on his face. 

      On each of his cheeks, he has a tattoo that looks as if his mouth has been split ear to ear and then stitched back together. The tattoo is similar to the imagery in the "The Dark Knight," where the late Heath Ledger portrayed the Joker.

      The word "Joker" is scrawled on the right side of Sullivan's forehead while the left side has a tattoo of The Batman logo with the words "F**K Batman" on the wings and dagger piercing the bat's heart.

      The comic book Joker's signature "Ha, Ha, Ha" is tattooed below his right eye.

      And if that was not enough, there's a "666" and an upside down cross tattooed just in front of his right ear.

      His family said he recently put tattoos on his face as an expression of his artistic side.

    • Suzanne Duarte

      Suzanne Duarte, from Dallas, Texas was arrested on March 25, 2015 after she tired to burn down the yoga studio where she practiced.

      Her explanation for the smiling mugshot? She was “trying to let go of her anger.”

      She reportedly told CBS Dallas, “I thought it was going to make me happy ... to burn the place that had brought me so much pain and suffering.”

      Duarte claimed that two men associated with the yoga studio had been harassing her for years.

    • Kevin Gibson

      Kevin Gibson, 58, was charged in Miami Beach for drinking in public, possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana and intent to sell, on April 19, 2016.

      In Gibson’s booking photo, he has a long, bushy beard and mustache on one side of his face, while he appears to have recently shaved the other side.

    • Craig Bruckner and "Bird"

      Oregon man Craig Bruckner got to bring his four-year-old macaw with him for a mugshot when his court appearance ran long thanks to an understanding sheriff’s office.

      Buckner, 38, brought the macaw, named “Bird,” to Washington County court Nov. 28, 2016 because of failure to appear on previous theft and drug charges. He put the animal in a nearby tree to wait for him, but things took longer than expected and Buckner reportedly became concerned for the well-being of his feathered friend.  

      Buckner was escorted out of the courthouse to retrieve “Bird” from the tree and brought him inside to the booking area, where both posed for a mugshot.

      Deputies said “Bird” was very well-trained and wouldn’t leave the tree for anyone other than his owner.

    • Anthony Zingale

      Wisconsin 19-year-old Anthony Zingale was charged with first degree sexual assault and carrying a concealed weapon after a May 28, 2016 incident at a house party, during which a woman said Zingale attempted to force her, at knife point, to have oral sex in a bathroom.

    • Khamprasong Thammavong

      Khamprasong Thammavong was stopped by a California police officer on March 7, 2016, the police department said in Facebook post.

      Thammavong, who police say is a documented member of the Laos Bloods gang, was on probation, which means authorities can search his home after a stop.

      The search of his residence allegedly turned up a semi-automatic rifle, a semi-automatic handgun, tactical gear similar to what law enforcement wear, a marijuana grow house, narcotics and photos of Thammavong posing with weapons.

      Authorities arrested Thammavong on numerous felony charge.

      A man wanted by the FBI for allegedly robbing a bank in Norman, Oklahoma on Mon., Oct. 24, 2016, was wearing a cat “mugshot” shirt. He remains on the prowl.

    • Wanted man's "selfie"

      Police in Lima, Ohio say a man they had been seeking, Donald “Chip” Pugh, sent in this “selfie” in January 2015 because he didn’t like the mugshot police were circulating. They released it via their Facebook page. Pugh was arrested Jan. 12, 2015 in Escambia County, Fla.

    • Unflattering mug?

      Police in Lima, Ohio circulated this mugshot of a man they had been seeking, Donald "Chip" Pugh, in January of 2015. Pugh apparently thought it was unflattering. He sent in a "selfie" for them to use instead while he was still on the lamb. Lima Police released it via their Facebook page. Pugh was arrested Jan. 12, 2015 in Escambia County, Fla.

    • Michael Carter

      Police in Oklahoma said they were called to a convenience store in December of 2015 after a clerk said a man came in wearing a mask. The man, later identified by police as 36-year-old Michael Carter, has previously been seen at a nearby burger restaurant wearing a red devil costume and a gold mask over his eyes.

      When he came out, they discovered his face is covered in tattoos, including Stars of David, a swastika and the words “Jesus Christ.”

      Carter was arrested on a complaint of interfering with an officer.

    • Karen Gillespie and Courtney Jording

      Karen Gillespie, 43, and her daughter Courtney Jording were caught injecting themselves with heroin by a Children and Youth Services worker that happened to be walking by the car in August 2015.

      There was a six-month-old baby in the backseat of the car. Police say the baby baby had a dirty diaper and the car seat wasn’t secured.

      Police say they also found 41 stamp bags of heroin, 16 empty bags, 4 syringes and two spoons, the station reported.

      Both women were charged on multiple drug counts, criminal conspiracy and endangering the welfare of a child.

      Micah David Dailey was arrested in Florida on drug charges in October 2014. In his mugshot he is wearing a T-shirt that reads, “Go directly to jail.”

    • Carrie Gipson

      Carrie Gipson, 37, was arrested in Maine on October 29, 2014 for driving under the influence while wearing a Hello Kitty costume.

      Her police mugshot shows her wearing a red and white Hello Kitty costume, minus the doll’s mammoth head.

      Robert “Bobby” Burt, then 19, had this jail booking photo of himself taken when he showed up to do time for his arrest for operating under the influence in June 2014.

      He showed up wearing an orange T-shirt that had a picture of his previous mugshot printed on it.

    • Angela Green

      Angela Green was arrested in Ohio in July 2014 for refusing to check out of her hotel room.

    • Adam Roberts

      In 2013, Adam Roberts, with a fully tattooed face, was charged with stealing items from more than two dozen storage lockers and selling some of them to area residents in Illinois.

    • Meagan Simmons

      Meagan Simmons, 28, and a mother of four had this mugshot taken after a DUI in 2010.

      Her mugshot was thought to be so good looking that it went viral -- Simmons filed a lawsuit against a background check website, saying the company used her “attractive” arrest booking photo for commercial and advertising purposes, without compensating her or even getting her permission.

    • Michael Whitington

      Michael Whitington, 45, flashed a brad, toothy grin after his Sept. 23, 2014 arrest in Denver for allegedly robbing a bank.

    • Christopher Brooks

      Christopher Brooks was one of the 10 alleged members of the white supremacist group American Front who were arrested in Osceola County, Fla., on May 7, 2012, for plotting a violent attack against an anti-racism rally.

    • Desmond Bryant

      Oakland Raiders defensive tackle Desmond Bryant was arrested in Miami, Fla., on Feb. 24, 2013 on a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Bryant was booked after allegedly going to a neighbor’s house drunk and “causing a commotion,” according to CBS Detroit. He was held on $1,000 bail.

    • Aaron Chase

      Aaron Chase, 24, was dressed as the Joker from the Batman movies when he was arrested Feb. 3, 2012 after allegedly harassing people inside an Applebee's restaurant in Chautauqua County, New York, CBS affiliate WIVB reports. He was charged with harassment and trespassing.

    • David Davis

      David Davis, 21, of New Haven, Connecticut was getting a haircut when he allegedly grabbed scissors and slashed another 21-year-old man in the back. Police say the victim approached Davis during his haircut in what the suspect called “an aggressive manner.” Davis told investigators he picked up the scissors in self-defense. Davis was charged with assault in the March 2011 incident.

    • Kumari Fulbright

      Kumari Fulbright, a former University of Arizona law school student and beauty queen, was accused of kidnapping and torturing ex-boyfriend Josh Conway in December 2007 with three other men. She pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit kidnapping and aggravated assault in December 2009. She was sentenced to two years in prison in December 2010 for her part in the crime.

    • Ricky Lee Kalichun

      Ricky Lee Kalichun, of Evansville, Indiana was arrested in January 2011 and charged with intimidation with a weapon and public intoxication after he allegedly tried to attack his former roommate with a sword, The Evansville Courier and Press reports. Kalichun was allegedly upset his ex-roommate didn’t return his video games, the paper says.

    • Jesse Thornhill

      Jesse Thornhill was arrested in July 2010 after police say he attempted to run over his landlord with a minivan, reports CBS affiliate KOTV. It was Thornhill’s mother who called the Tulsa Police Department. He was charged for assault with a dangerous weapon.

    • Michelle Allen

      Michelle Allen, 32, of Cincinnati, Ohio was arrested wearing a cow suit in October 2008 after allegedly chasing children, urinating on porches, and blocking traffic, reports CBS affiliate WKRC. Authorities said she smelled of alcohol, slurred her speech, and was belligerent when they found her. Allen was charged with disorderly conduct.

    • Marcus T. Bailey

      Marcus T. Bailey, 25, was arrested in June 2009 in the middle of getting his hair braided. Midway through his braid-job, Bailey allegedly stepped outside an Indiana barber shop to sell crack cocaine when police caught him, reports the Daily Mail. Police say they found 21 grams of cocaine in his car.

    • Michael Eugene Campbell

      Michael Eugene Campbell was reportedly convicted in 1995 for the attempted sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl. He has been arrested several times since, most recently for going within 500 feet of a playground or public pool.

    • Adam Ballingall

      Pennsylvania man, Adam Ballingall, was arrested on Halloween 2008 wearing a prisoner costume. Ballingall was allegedly smoking marijuana behind a bar when police caught up with him, reports NBC Chicago.

    • Amanda Lynn Bailey

      “I’m not an alcoholic, I am a drunk, alcoholics go to meetings” read Amanda Lynn Bailey’s T-shirt when she was pulled over for a DUI in August 2007. The 41-year-old Florida resident charged with driving under the influence and driving with a canceled, suspended or revoked license, according to Tampa Bay Online.

    • Anna Clifford

      Tennessee mother of two, Anna Clifford, was pulled over for a DUI in March 2007 allegedly after a long night celebrating her friend’s birthday. Police say that Clifford, 25, had the sunroof open when she was pulled over, in order to make room for her enormous Mohawk hairdo, reports the Daily Mail. The police photographer had to take several steps back to accommodate her 18 inch hair in the mug shot.

    • Bradley Gellert

      Tampa man, Bradley Gellert, 32, was arrested and charged with felony domestic battery by strangulation, reports CBS affiliate WTSP. The man was ironically booked while wearing an “I Heart My Marriage” t-shirt in March 2009.

    • Fares Baroudi

      Fares Baroudi was arrested two days before Halloween wearing a “Department of Mental Health” costume and charged with driving under the influence, reports NBC Chicago. The 25-year-old was pulled over in Tampa in 2007 and apparently took his costume seriously when posing for his mug shot.

    • Patricia Dye

      Patricia Dye, 31, was arrested in June 2010 for impersonating a 14-year-old boy in order to have sex with a teenage girl. CBS affiliate WKRC reports that the Ohio woman was charged with unlawful sexual conduct with, and contributing to, the delinquency of a minor and is being held on $100,000 bond.

    • Daniel Everett

      Michigan man, Daniel Everett, 22, was arrested wearing a “World’s Greatest Dad” T-shirt when he went to have sex with a girl he met online and believed to be 14-years-old. The teenager was actually an agent, reports CBS affiliate WTSP. When Everett arrived to meet the young girl, authorities arrested him. He pleaded guilty in 2008 to child sexual abuse and using the Internet to attempt sexual abuse. His stepdaughter had given him the now infamous mug shot T-shirt.

    • Raymond Adamcik

      Raymond Adamcik, was dressed as Captain America when he allegedly pulled a burrito out of his tights and groped a woman while he was at a costume party in Florida. The comic book hero look-alike was arrested in April 2007 and taken to the police station where Adamcik. Police say he then tried to flush a marijuana cigarette down the toilet, reports CBS affiliate WFOR. He was charged with misdemeanor battery, disorderly conduct, resisting an officer without violence and felony destruction of evidence. Adamcik is a family physician by day.

    • Spencer Taylor

      Spencer Taylor, 20, was arrested in July 2008 at and Indiana movie theater after he went to see “The Dark Knight.” CBS affiliate WSBT reports that Taylor, dressed as the “Joker” character, complete with makeup, tried to steal posters and memorabilia related to the film. He was arrested and charged with felony larceny and malicious destruction of property.

    • Julie Root

      Julie Root, Connecticut mother of 2, poses for her mug shot in an “I Heart Weed” T-shirt in April 2010, according to CBS affiliate WFSB. Root was charged with risk of injury to a minor and reckless endangerment when her two sons were found playing unattended in the woods wearing only their diapers.

    • Thomas Neel

      Police say Thomas Neel, 20, entered a California convenience store with a makeshift sword and began threatening shoppers and employees. When police arrived Neel remained aggressive and violent, reports CBS affiliate KOVR. He could not be taken down with a stun-gun so police had to resort to a 37mm sage gun to restrain him. Neel was charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

    • Robert Prosser

      Ohio man Robert Prosser, 49, was arrested in July 2010 for allegedly growing marijuana at his home, which was located near a school, according to CBS affiliate WKRC. Prosser was also allegedly in possession of a gun, which as a convicted felon is illegal.

    • Steven Joerger

      Steven Joerger was arrested in January 2010 for allegedly beating his mother. During the altercation Joerger allegedly knocked over a wood-burning stove and set his house on fire, reported CBS affiliate KOVR. The Sacramento man is charged with felony arson and felony crime against the elderly.

    • Yahmel Edwards

      Yahmel Edwards is accused of trying to break into a group home and is now charged with felony burglary, according to CBS affiliate WKRC. Cops say they don’t know how Edwards broke into the group home in July 2010, but the 23-year-old allegedly stole money from someone inside before he was chased away.

    • Randy Zipperer

      Randy Zipperer, 49, was arrested in Deltona, Fla., on June 11 2013 on suspicion of stabbing his brother in a fight that started over some missing macaroni and cheese and spilled beer, according to CBS affiliate WKMG. He was charged with aggravated battery and obstructing an officer without violence.

    • Matthew Ezekiel Stager

      Matthew Ezekiel Stager, a convicted sex offender, was wanted by the U.S. Marshals after he was released from a Virginia correctional facility in February of 2016 and failed to check in at a Texas transitional center.

      In circulating his description, authorities said he had distinctive tattoos. 

      He was apprehended in Washington, D.C., on Feb. 8, 2017.

    • elwood

      Police in Pennsylvania say they arrested a man wearing a “Drunk Lives Matter” shirt for drunken driving.

      Police say 44-year-old Elwood Gutshall III’s blood-alcohol content was .217, which is about two and a half times the state’s legal limit for drivers when he was pulled over early on March 19, 2017 in Newville.

      He was wearing a green St. Patrick’s Day shirt with the saying on it. His charges include DUI Highest Rate and driving under DUI suspension.
