Woman Hospitalized After Being Struck By Vehicle In Cheltenham Township

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A Philadelphia woman is in critical condition after she was hit by a car in Cheltenham Township just before 9 Tuesday morning.
Police say the 54-year-old woman was crossing in the middle of the block on Church Road, near Einstein Elkins Park Hospital, when she was hit.
The driver is cooperating with police, who say sun glare may have been a factor.
The victim's name is not being released, but police say she lives on North 3rd Street in Philadelphia.
