10/4 CBS2 Sunday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre
CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Hey, folks! Hope you're enjoying a drier start to the day compared to the past two. It's gonna be a pretty nice day overall with sun poking through the clouds late. It'll be warmer with temps in the upper 50s/low 60s, but still windy ... northeast gusts of 35-45 mph look like a good bet for the coasts, so we'll have coastal flooding concerns continuing.

Monday will start our new work and school week with more sunshine, and temps will be bumped up a bit, too. Only caveat is that it'll still be breezy as Joaquin tracks to our east. Despite the storm being hundreds of miles away, our seas will still get churned up.

Looks like we'll have a stretch of nice weather to round out the week with sunshine and mild temps in the upper 60s and low 70s. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
