1/13 CBS2 Tuesday Evening Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta, CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good evening all,

I was up at 6 a.m. today and it was warmer at sunrise than at sunset!  A regular weather anomaly.

Temps have been falling steadily all throughout the day.  At 5 p.m. it was 22, 6 p.m.: 21, 9 p.m.: 19...you get the picture.

Now the winds are kicking in and are ushering in the arctic attack.  Wake up temps will range from -3 to around 25 below on the coastal communities.

A very interesting weather situation will occur tomorrow. The coast might face a few snow showers due to the low pressure system offshore; whist in the mountains, you can expect more sunshine and bright cold skies.  But under that clear sky, temps will be hard to battle.  A few towns will stay in the 20s even during the p.m. high.

We then warm up every day with a noticeable difference this weekend.  Check back in shortly for an update!
