Makeovers Across America I

The Early Show stylist David Evangelista went to several malls to find a few lucky women who could use a little sprucing up for his week-long series, Mall Makeovers Across America.

Find out what he did to transform the women he found in Bloomington, Minn., Memphis,Tenn., and Orlando, Fla.:

On Monday, July 14, we met Evangelista at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn., with his makeover candidate. They were at Progressions salon where Evangelista and Terry Varty, a local colorist, transformed her look. Laura Boche, the lucky woman, also got a new outfit from Nordstrom, so she was made over from head to toe.

Then he hit the road again and went south to Memphis, Tenn., home of Elvis and big, bad hair. On Wednesday, Early Show caught up with him and Kathy Williams at the Wolfchase Galleria where he performed an amazing transformation without power. (Severe thunderstorms had left Memphis without electricity.)

Friday, Evangelista was in the land of Mickey Mouse for his last stop. When he spotted a woman in shorts and a tank top with overgrown, graying hair at the Florida Mall in Orlando, he thought that he had hit American pay dirt. But when Kay Matthews opened her mouth and began to speak, it was vividly obvious that he had not chosen an American to make over - but a tourist from England.
