SCENARIO: Your job depends upon your ability to convert a certain prospect into a customer. You've been given a big expense account with carte-blanche to spend it securing the deal. You get the distinct impression from the prospect that your ability to win the sale is dependent upon whether you're willing to "go the extra mile." And that doesn't mean offering a big discount.
