  • My Own Shower. Shower water can get mighty hot. Hot enough to cause serious burns in just a few seconds. With this fun frog shower head parents don't need to worry about their little ones getting scald burns. This item sticks easily on the wall, below the regular shower head. If the water temperature becomes too hot, the showerhead quickly shuts off the flow. It's that simple. My Own Shower is from Idea Factory. It will be available starting next month at a number of stores...including Target, Linens 'n Things, and Bed Bath & Beyond...for about $35.00.
  • The Fire Shield Extension Cord. They don't look dangerous. But old, worn-out extension cords can be deadly. In fact, they start thousands of fires each year killing more than 700 people. The new cord, however, has special circuitry that automatically shuts off the power in a fraction of a second- when it senses a dangerous situation. The Fire Shield Extension Cord is available by mail order for around $10.00. In the near future you should see it showing up in department & hardware stores.
  • The Poop Hound. Seems like someone's always trying to invent a better pooper scooper. Well, this just may be it. The Poop Hound lets you scoop away the poop without ever bending down, without ever getting close to it. All you do is find your target and close the handle and there you have it. Just scoop away and off you go. Here's something else I like, the poop picker upper uses any old plastic bag you might have. A great way to re-use it before you dispose of it. You'll find the Poop Hound at Target, Home Depot and Ace Hardware. Price around $25.00.
  • Password Journal. This item lets little girls lock up their secrets using the sound of their voice. It's a kid's toy with voice recognition. So when someone else, like dad or your nosey brother tries to look inside, they're locked out. The Password Journal is from Girl Tech. You'll find it at toy stores for around $20.00
  • Original Hits Song Cards. It's the latest hing in hi-tech greetings. Open it up and hear a short clip from a solid gold classic from the Partridge Family to Marvin Gaye. Original are about $7.00 each at Hallmark Stores & Eckerd Drugs.
  • SkyTV. This is a new product that solves the age old problem of how to comfortably watch the TV across the room while you're lying in bed. You don't have to waste all that energy sitting up on the couch anymore when you can watch it flat on your back! The secret is a pair of mirrors that adjust to any angle. Just look straight up and watch a picture that's been reversed...and then reversed again so it looks
normal. The device installs in minutes and swings away when not in use. The Sky TV costs about $40 and is available through the Absolute Amenities catalog.
