Colin Powell on "CTM" Thurs.

(CBS News) Former Secretary of State Colin Powell will appear on "CBS This Morning" Thursday.

Powell is a retired general who served as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under President George H.W. Bush and as secretary of state under President George W. Bush.

The last time he joined "CBS This Morning," Powell took a break from politics and showed off his singing skills, joining co-host Gayle King in their own rendition of "Call Me Maybe."
