A Woman Scorned

A woman wanted for attempted murder is behind bars, after a caller tipped off the TV show "Amercia's Most Wanted" to her whereabouts.

The woman is accused of shooting her husband's mistress. Police have been looking for her for more than three years.

Kristina Eaddy was arrested as she left her home in Maryland. She's waived her right to challenge her extradition back to New Jersey.

The caller recognized Eaddy from the day-care center where Eaddy brought her children.

Authorities in Paterson, New Jersey, say Eaddy fired five shots at her husband's mistress in July 1999 from the passenger seat of a car driven by her husband.

He's already been convicted of attempted murder, aggravated assault and weapons offenses.

America's Most Wanted claims Eaddy is the 734th person caught because of a tip triggered by the program, and the 11th in November alone.
