STUDIO CITY (CBS/KCAL) — Tim Harrison, subject of the award winning documentary, "The Elephant in the Living Room," visited the KCAL9 studios on Friday.

"The Elephant in the Living Room" tackles the growing threat of exotic pets in the home.

The film pulls together the issues surrounding the growing controversy and dangers of people owning exotic animals in their homes as pets. The film tells the story from the perspective of Tim Harrison, a fascinating exotic animal rescue worker, police officer, and martial arts expert. Tim has removed pythons, tigers, and other rare animals from very dangerous situations.

"The Elephant in the Living Room" is in theaters today in nearly 100 select cities across the country, including the Mann Chinese Theater in Hollywood.
