Author Tina Cassidy Gives A Glimpse Inside Jackie O's Life
STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Are you a Jackie O fan?
Author Tina Cassidy visited KCAL9 Monday to talk about her book, "Jackie After O: One Remarkable Year When Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Defied Expectations and Rediscovered Her Dreams".
The book takes a look back at Jackie's life in 1975, when she became a widow for the second time at just 45 years old. Caroline was also leaving the nest, which forced Jackie to look at the rest of her life not as a wife or mother, but as an individual.
Cassidy was a reporter and editor at the Boston Globe for more than a decade, covering everything from business to politics to fashion. She is also the author of "Birth: The Surprising History of How We Are Born".
