FORT WORTH (CBS11)  - The Fort Worth Police Department is calling on the public to help catch a group of serial robbers who are linked to at least a half-dozen armed robberies in the past month at convenience stores in southeast Fort Worth.

At each location, 5101 Wilbarger, 801 Nashville Ave, 3825 Mansfield, 5016 Lancaster, 3300 E Berry and 1051 Bridge Creek, two masked men wearing hooded sweatshirts walk in with guns drawn and demand all the cash from the register.

Joe Abuawad, a clerk at the Lancaster Mini Market, said he was taking care of a customer at the drive-up window with his back towards the front door when he heard a gunshot.

That shot hit the cigarette display coming within inches of Abuawad's head.

"I don't know if his intention was to hit me or just get my attention or scare me," said Abuawad. "He just said, 'Give it up'.  Another guy then came behind the cash register and started taking all the money out."

At all six locations, the robbers were caught on store security video.

However, with wearing masks and hoods investigators have not been able to identify the suspect.

"Hopefully they will find them," said Abuawad.

Anyone with information on these individuals is asked to call detectives at 817-392-4469.
