Darius Fields Found Guilty Of Organized Criminal Activity In Shavon Randle's Death

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Darius Fields, a drug trafficker implicated in the kidnapping of 13-year-old Shavon Randle, whose body was found inside an abandoned home in Oak Cliff, was found guilty Tuesday, March 8 of organized criminal activity.

Fields is already serving 18 years in federal prison for kidnapping her in April 2018. 

Prosecutors said in 2017, Fields planned the kidnapping of Randle after one of her family members stole $250,000 worth of marijuana from him.

The punishment phase begins Wednesday.
