The preserve is a perfect place for dogs and their families to stretch their legs, get some fresh air, chase a few rabbits and cool off in the clear-watered stream. The hiking trails are creatively designed to offer both paved and unpaved surfaces under a shady canopy of red buds, oaks and cedar elms, making it a pleasant trot even on hot days. It offers water fountains, ground spouts for Fido, playgrounds, restrooms and plenty of poop stations to keep the grounds clean.
