Ad-Libs, a well-known and popular improv group, now performs at its new sister venue Mouth. This cabaret-style theater has entertained and delighted Dallas residents for 25 years with shows every Friday and Saturday evening. The Rose Room is the most famous gender-illusion show bar in the southwest with nationally-known female impersonators. The witty impersonators spoof beauty pageants and glamour plus everything in between. The Rose Room Theatre and Lounge are located upstairs at Station 4 in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas. Showtimes are at 11 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Station 4 is one of the largest gay dance clubs in the country with a nightclub vibe. It features 24,000-square-foot area including a huge dance floor, major sound system and moveable light show.

Award-winning playwright Mark-Brian Sonna now has a cult following for his wacky play "The Beulaville Baptist Book Club presents...A Bur-Less-Q Nutcracker" that features the Velvet Kittens. Just like in the "Rocky Horror Show," returning fans dress down in torn fishnet hose. Dallasites look forward to performances each holiday season. Another popular upcoming event where the Velvet Kittens are performing is Ricki Derek's "A Merry Little Christmas Show" in the historic Lakewood Theater in Dallas.
