But with free use of weight rooms, pools and an array of non-stop fitness classes, including spin cycling, water aerobics, line dancing and Zumba, the YMCA is a real deal at a steal. The Park South branch, in particular, is the best of the rest as far as fees go. An adult one-time initiation fee costs $30 with a monthly cost of only $37. What's great about this place is that the basic membership gives you access to four southern sector branches, or you can pay $70 for a  platinum membership to access all of the YMCAs in town, including the exclusive downtown branch. Another perk of being part of the YMCA family is that you can get temporary passes to workout at other Ys when you're on the road.
