On September 11th this year ESPN films will broadcast a new film called "First Pitch".  It's about President George W. Bush's first pitch at the World Series in New York after the September 11 attacks.

"I think all of us in the administration recognized that we had to send a message to the bad guys.  One way was through showing resolve, if we in any way shape or form looked frightened or worried about them it would embolden them" President Bush said.

It is a powerful film that will have you laughing and crying all within the short 25 minutes.  Directed by Academy Award winner Angus Wall, "First Pitch" is another film in the ESPN "30 for 30" series.

"First Pitch" will be shown to the public September 10th at the George W. Bush Presidential Center in Dallas.

JD Ryan is Around Town and at the premiere.
