Neighbors shared surveillance video with CBS News Detroit showing a car quickly leaving the house.

"(The driver) rammed through the garage. The garage door was closed and he just high-tailed it through the garage," said resident Kelly Fox.

Neighbor Tammi Howard said she was grateful that nobody was hurt, but it was a little uneasy not knowing what caused the house to explode or the mystery car.

Fire Chief Randy Keen said he was not aware of the car but that the police and fire departments are conducting a joint investigation into the explosion.
