Scattered snow showers coming Wednesday night in Chicago
CHICAGO (CBS) — Scattered snow showers are coming Wednesday evening, especially between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m.
Flurries persist overnight into early Thursday morning.
Snowfall amounts will be up to one inch, so slick spots Wednesday night through Thursday morning will be possible.
Lows Wednesday night will be in the mid-teens.
Conditions will be partly cloudy and breezy for Thursday with highs in the low 20s.
It will be very cold Thursday night with lows in the single digits and wind chills below zero degrees by Friday morning.
Low 20s continue Friday afternoon, then highs rebound to the mid-30s for Saturday.
After a brief cool blast on Sunday in the low 30s, temperatures will be near 40 degrees for the first half of next week.
