At the time, the boy was walking along the 7400 block of West School Street, not far from Belmont and Harlem avenues.

The stranger offered to play video games with the boy, saying, "Let's go play Xbox."

But when the boy refused, police say when the boy refused, the man got out of his car and began to chase the boy, who ran home.

The man got into his small to mid-size purple two-door car with tinted windows and drove away.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man 30 to 40 with a medium complexion, 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10 and 150-170 pounds.

He had black and gray hair, a full, closely-trimmed black beard, think eyebrows the child described as a unibrow, and large lips, according to the alert.

Police said he was wearing a black T-shirt with red lettering over a white, long-sleeved shirt and baggy black pants.
