Massachusetts Air National Guard Father Deploys With Son

WESTFIELD (CBS) -- It's a memorable final deployment for Air Force Master Sgt. Donny Masciadrelli.

He's deployed before in his 35 years as an Airman. But this time, he's with his son.

Master Sgt. Masciadrelli and his son Tech. Sgt. Danny Masciadrelli, both with the 104th Fighter Wing out of Barnes Air National Guard Base, have served together for 15 years.

The pair are in the Netherlands as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve.

"This is the closest we've ever worked together," Master Sgt. Masciadrelli said in a public statement. "I've been able to come out and work in the tool room and actually experience watching him this close."

"It means the world to me to be a part of this, and to share the experience with my son," Master Sgt. Masciadrelli said.
