BALTIMORE -- Alternative rock band Nine Inch Nails is bringing its world tour to Baltimore this summer. The "Peel It Back Tour 2025" will be the band's first world tour since 2022.

The band announced the tour after some information about the performances was leaked, though they held back on an official announcement due to the devastating wildfires in southern California, they said in a social media post.

Nine Inch Nails was created in 1987 in Ohio with Trent Reznor playing almost all of the instruments by himself. He released the band's debut album "Pretty Hate Machine" in 1989.

The band worked with several musicians throughout its history, and Reznor would tour with groups of musicians. Atticus Ross joined Reznor as a member in 2016.

In 2022, Nine Inch Nails returned to the stage for two short tours in the U.S. and U.K., their first performances in four years, according to Live Nation.

The "Peel It Back Tour 2025"

The band will kick off the "Peel It Back" tour on June 15 in Dublin, Ireland, and make their way around Europe before bringing the tour to the U.S. starting in Oakland, California in August.

Nine Inch Nails will perform at the CFG Bank Arena on August 26 before taking the show along the east coast to Philadelphia and Boston.

The tour will end in Los Angeles on September 18.

Tickets for the "Peel It Back" tour will go on sale Wednesday, Jan. 29, and can be purchased HERE.

Entertainment in the Baltimore area

CFG Bank Arena already has a star-studded lineup of concerts and shows for 2025.

In February, Comedian Jeff Dunham will make an appearance at the venue, and in March, country singer Blake Shelton will take the stage.

This summer, music fans can expect shows from LINKIN PARK, Mary J. Blige and Tate McRae.

Rapper Kendrick Lamar and R&B singer SZA will make a stop in Washington, D.C. to close out their "Grant National Tour" on June 18.
