Two Atlanta Hawks players, Thabo Sefolosha and Pero Antic, were arrested in NYC on Wednesday morning.
They were charged with "obstructing a governmental administration."
The players were present at the time of the stabbing of Pacers' player Chris Copeland. Copeland's wife was also cut by the knife. All of this took place at a nightclub called the "1 Oak Club".
According to reports, both Antic and Sefolosha were taken in to custody for attempting to prevent police from setting up a crime scene.
Both players were also charged with "disorderly conduct". Sefolosha was also charged with "resisting arrest" and Antic was also charged with "menacing".
The Hawks are in New York to take on the Nets and the Pacers take on the Knicks tonight.
Hawks Vice President of Public Relations Garin Narain said "We are aware of the situation involving Pero Antic and Thabo Sefolosha this morning. We are in the process of gathering more information and will have further comment at the appropriate time."
