American Fan Heckles Europeans At Ryder Cup, Gets Called Out To Putt For $100, Sinks It!

Tensions were running high at Ryder Cup practice today, but not for long.

Team Europe's Henrik Stenson heard the boos from one David Johnson, from North Dakota, and pulled David out of the gallery to make a putt.

Justin Rose then upped the ante with a $100 bill, placed right next to the ball, just to get into David's head.

Rory McIlroy gave Johnson a big hug after he made the putt as the crowd roared...

You gotta hear the crowd in Rory's video! It reminiscent of a Tiger Woods crowd roar at Augusta!

Brian Murphy, of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, caught up with Johnson after he made the putt. David sounded like he was still trying to figure what had just happened. "I closed my eyes, swallowed my puke, and hit the putt that happened to go in, so that was cool," he said.

"I closed my eyes, swallowed my puke, and hit the putt that happened to go in, so that was cool," he told Murphy. Then Johnson said he wanted someone to sign that ball for him.

Watch that interview here:

Yeah, we're not kidding.

A fan was invited out onto the course, albeit at practice, and bet $100 he couldn't make the putt that he was JUST complaining about.

And he did.

In blue jeans.

Anything can happen at the Ryder Cup!
